Salmos 69

1Salmo de Davi, para o regente, conforme “os lírios”: Salva-me, ó Deus, porque as águas têm entrado e encoberto a minha alma.

1To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

2Afundei-me em um profundo lamaçal, onde não se pode ficar em pé; entrei nas profundezas das águas, e a corrente está me levando.

2I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3Já estou cansado de clamar, minha garganta enrouqueceu; meus olhos desfaleceram, enquanto espero pelo meu Deus.

3I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4Os que me odeiam sem motivo são mais numerosos que os cabelos de minha cabeça; são poderosos os que procuram me arruinar, os que por falsidades se fazem meus inimigos; tive que pagar de volta aquilo que não furtei.

4They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

5Tu, Deus, sabes como sou tolo; e meus pecados não estão escondidos perante ti.

5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

6Não sejam envergonhados por minha causa aqueles que te esperam, ó Senhor DEUS dos exércitos; não sejam humilhados por minha causa os que te buscam, ó Deus de Israel.

6Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7Porque por causa de ti aguentei ser insultado; a humilhação cobriu o meu rosto.

7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

8Tornei-me estranho aos meus irmãos; e desconhecido aos filhos de minha mãe;

8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

9Porque o zelo por tua casa me devorou; e os insultos dos que te insultam caíram sobre mim;

9For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

10Minha alma chorou e jejuou; porém mais insultos vieram sobre mim.

10When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

11Vesti-me de saco, mas fui ridicularizado por eles num ditado.

11I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12Os que se sentam à porta falam mal de mim; e os bebedores de álcool cantam piadas contra mim.

12They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

13Mas eu oro a ti, SENHOR, no tempo aceitável. Pela grandeza de tua bondade, responde-me, ó Deus, pela fidelidade de tua salvação.

13But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

14Livra-me do lamaçal, e não me deixes afundar; seja eu resgatado dos que me odeiam, e das profundezas das águas.

14Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15Não permitas que as correntes de águas me cubram, e que a profundeza não me devore, nem o poço feche sua boca sobre mim.

15Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16Responde-me, SENHOR; pois boa é tua bondade; olha para mim conforme tua piedade.

16Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17E não escondas teu rosto de teu servo; porque estou angustiado; ouve-me depressa.

17And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18Vem para perto de minha alma, e a liberta; resgata-me por causa de meus inimigos.

18Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

19Tu conheces como me insultam, me envergonham e me humilham; diante de ti estão todos os meus adversários.

19Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

20Insultos têm quebrado meu coração, e estou fraquíssimo; e esperei compaixão, porém houve nenhuma; também esperei por pessoas que me consolassem, mas não os achei.

20Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21Deram-me fel como alimento; e em minha sede me deram vinagre para beber.

21They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22Torne-se a mesa diante deles como que um laço; e aquilo que lhes dá segurança lhes seja uma armadilha.

22Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

23Sejam escurecidos os olhos deles, para que não possam ver; e que seus quadris vacilem continuamente.

23Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24Derrama tua indignação sobre eles; e que sejam tomados pelo ardor de tua ira.

24Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

25A habitação deles seja desolada; e que não haja morador nas tendas deles;

25Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

26Porque perseguem aquele a quem tu feriste, e contam histórias da dor daqueles a quem tu machucaste.

26For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

27Conta como maldade a maldade deles; e não sejam eles agraciados por tua justiça.

27Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

28Sejam riscados dos livro da vida; e não estejam eles escritos junto com os justos.

28Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29Mas eu estou miserável e em dores; ó Deus, que tua salvação me proteja.

29But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

30Louvarei o nome de Deus com cântico; e o engrandecerei com agradecimentos.

30I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31Isto agradará ao SENHOR mais do que o sacrifício de um boi ou de um bezerro com chifres e unhas.

31This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

32Os mansos verão, e se alegrarão; vós que buscais a Deus, vosso coração viverá.

32The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

33Porque o SENHOR ouve aos necessitados, e não despreza os prisioneiros que lhe pertencem.

33For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34Louvem a ele os céus, a terra, os mares, e tudo que neles se move;

34Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

35Porque Deus salvará a Sião, e construirá as cidades de Judá; e habitarão ali, e a terão como posse.

35For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

36E a semente de seus servos a herdará; e os que amam o nome dele habitarão nela.

36The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
