Salmos 77

1Salmo de Asafe, para o regente, conforme “Jedutum”: Clamo a Deus com minha voz, minha voz a Deus; e ele inclinará seus ouvidos a mim.

1To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

2No dia da minha angústia busquei ao Senhor; minha mão estava continuamente estendida; minha alma não se deixava consolar.

2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

3Eu ficava me lembrando de Deus, e gemendo; ficava pensativo, e meu espírito desfalecia. (Selá)

3I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

4Tu mantiveste abertas as pálpebras dos meus olhos; eu estava perturbado, e não conseguia falar.

4Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5Eu ficava imaginando os dias antigos, e os anos passados.

5I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6De noite eu me lembrava de minha canção; meditava em meu coração; e meu espírito ficava procurando entender.

6I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

7Será que o Senhor rejeitará para sempre? E nunca mais mostrará seu favor?

7Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

8A sua bondade se acabou para sempre? Ele deu fim à sua promessa de geração em geração?

8Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

9Deus se esqueceu de ter misericórdia? Ele encerrou suas compaixões por causa de sua ira? (Selá)

9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

10Então eu disse: Esta é a minha dor: os anos em que a mão do Altíssimo agia.

10And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

11Eu me lembrarei das obras do SENHOR; porque me lembrarei de tuas antigas maravilhas.

11I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

12Meditarei em todos as tuas obras, e falarei de teus feitos.

12I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

13Deus, santo é o teu caminho; quem é deus tão grande como nosso Deus?

13Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

14Tu és o Deus que faz maravilhas; tu fizeste os povos conhecerem teu poder.

14Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

15Com teu braço livraste teu povo, os filhos de Jacó e de José. (Selá)

15Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16As águas te viram, ó Deus; as águas te viram, e tremeram; também os abismos foram abalados.

16The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

17Grandes nuvens derramaram muitas águas; os céus fizeram barulho; e também tuas flechas correram de um lado ao outro.

17The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

18O ruído de teus trovões estava nos ventos; relâmpagos iluminaram ao mundo; a terra se abalou e tremou.

18The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

19Pelo mar foi teu caminho; e tuas veredas por muitas águas; e tuas pegadas não foram conhecidas.

19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

20Guiaste a teu povo como a um rebanho, pela mão de Moisés e de Arão.

20Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
