Salmos 84

1Para o regente, com “Gitite”. Salmo dos filhos de Coré: Quão agradáveis são tuas moradas, SENHOR dos exércitos!

1To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

2Minha alma está desejosa, ao ponto de desmaiar, pelos pátios do SENHOR; meu coração e minha carne clamam ao Deus vivente.

2My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3Até o pardal acha casa, e a andorinha ninho para si, onde ponha filhotes perto de teus altares, ó SENHOR dos exércitos, Rei meu e Deus meu.

3Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

4Bem-aventurados os que habitam em tua casa; eles louvam a ti continuamente. (Selá)

4Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5Bem-aventurados aqueles cuja força está em ti, em cujos corações estão os caminhos corretos.

5Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6Eles, ao passarem pelo Vale de Baca, fazem dele uma fonte; e a chuva o cobre de bênçãos.

6Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7Eles vão de força em força; cada um deles comparece diante de Deus em Sião.

7They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8SENHOR Deus dos exércitos, escuta minha oração; inclina os teus ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacó. (Selá)

8O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9Olha o nosso escudo, ó Deus; e observa o rosto do teu ungido.

9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10Porque melhor é um dia nos teus pátios, do que mil fora. Prefiro estar à porta da casa do meu Deus, a morar nas tendas dos perversos.

10For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11Porque o SENHOR Deus é sol e escudo; o SENHOR concederá graça e honra; ele não negará o bem aos que andam em integridade.

11For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12Ó SENHOR dos exércitos, bem-aventurado é o homem que confia em ti!

12O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
