Salmos 92

1Salmo e cântico para o dia do Sábado: Bom é louvar ao SENHOR, e cantar louvores ao teu nome, ó Altíssimo;

1A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

2Para anunciar tua bondade pela manhã, e tua fidelidade durante as noites.

2To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

3Com o instrumento de dez cordas, com a lira, e com música de harpa.

3Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

4Porque tu, SENHOR, tens me alegrado com teus feitos; cantarei de alegria pelas obras de tuas mãos.

4For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5Ó SENHOR, como são grandes tuas obras! Muito profundos são teus pensamentos!

5O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

6O homem bruto não os conhece, nem o tolo entende isto.

6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7Quando os perversos crescem como a erva, e florescem todos os praticantes de maldade, assim então serão destruídos para sempre.

7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

8Mas tu és Altíssimo para sempre, SENHOR.

8But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

9Porque eis que teus inimigos, SENHOR, porque eis que teus inimigos pereceram; serão dispersos todos os praticantes de maldade.

9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10Porém tu exaltaste o meu poder, como que um chifre de touro selvagem; eu fui ungido com óleo fresco.

10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11E meus olhos verão o fim dos meus inimigos; meus ouvidos ouvirão o fim dos malfeitores que se levantam contra mim.

11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

12O justo florescerá como a palma; crescerá como o cedro do Líbano.

12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13Os justos estão plantados na casa do SENHOR, crescerão nos pátios do nosso Deus.

13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14Até na velhice ainda darão fruto; serão fortes e verdes;

14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15Para anunciarem que o SENHOR é correto; ele é minha rocha, e não há perversidade nele.

15To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
