Testamento de Isaque 7

1E depois disto o Anjo me levou ao Céu, e vi Abraão, e o adorei, e ele me beijou, ele e todos os piedosos.

1And after this then the Angel took me to Heaven, and I saw Abraham and worshipped him and he kissed me, he and all the pious ones.

2E todos se ajuntaram e me deram honra por causa de meu Pai, e deram-me a mão e levaram-me ao púlpito do véu do Pai.

2And they were all gathered together and did me honour for my Father’s sake, and they gave me the hand and brought me to the pulpit of the curtain of the Father.

3E prostrei-me diante dele e adorei com meu pai e todos os santos, e louvamos e clamamos em alta voz, dizendo: Santo, Santo, Santo é o Senhor Sabaoth; o Céu e a Terra estão cheios da Tua santa Glória.

3And I prostrated myself to Him and worshipped with my father and all the saints, and we praised and cried aloud saying: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord the Sabaoth, the Heaven and the Earth are filled with Thy hallowed Glory.

4E o Senhor me disse do alto do santuário: Todo aquele que puser a seu filho o nome de Isaque, meu amado, a minha bênção repousará sobre ele e sobre a sua casa para sempre.

4And the Lord said to me from the top of the sanctuary, Every one who names his son after Isaac my beloved, my blessing shall rest upon him and upon his house for ever.

5Boa é a tua vinda, ó Abraão, e boa é a tua estirpe, e a presença da estirpe bendita.

5Good is thy coming, O Abraham, and good is thy stock and the presence of the blessed stock.

6E agora tudo quanto pedires em nome do teu amado filho Isaque será para ti, neste dia, como uma aliança para sempre.

6And now whatsoever thou shalt ask in the name of thy beloved son Isaac shall be to thee this day as a covenant for ever.

7Então respondeu meu Pai Abraão e disse: Teu é o domínio, ó Senhor, Governador do Universo.

7Then answered my Father Abraham and said, Thine is the sovereignty, O Lord, Ruler of the Universe.

8E o Senhor disse do alto do santuário a meu Pai Abraão: Todo homem que puser a seu filho o nome de Isaque, meu amado, ou escrever o seu testamento, terá uma bênção que não terá fim, e a minha bênção não cessará em sua casa; ou, se der de comer a um pobre no dia da festa do meu amado Isaque, em verdade eu o darei a vós no meu Reino.

8And the Lord said from the top of the sanctuary to my Father Abraham, Every man who shall name his son by the name of Isaac my beloved, or shall write his testament, shall have a blessing which shall not come to an end, and my-blessing in his house shall not cease; or if he shall give a poor man to eat on the day of the feast of my beloved Isaac, verily I will give him to you in my Kingdom.

9Então disse meu Pai Abraão: Ó divino Pai, Governador do Universo, mesmo que ele não possa escrever o seu testamento ou as suas últimas vontades, que a tua bênção e misericórdia o envolvam, pois tu és o Misericordioso.

9Then said my Father Abraham, Oh divine Father, Ruler of the Universe, even if he cannot write his testament or his will, let thy blessing and mercy enfold him, for thou art the Merciful.

10E o Senhor disse a Abraão: Que dê pão de comer ao faminto, e eu lhe darei um lugar no meu Reino, e ele estará presente convosco na primeira hora do banquete dos mil anos.

10And the Lord said to Abraham, Let him give the hungry bread to eat, and I will give him a place in my Kingdom and he shall be present with you at the first ' hour of the banquet of the thousand years.

11E o Salvador disse a Nosso Pai Abraão: E se ele é pobre e não pode achar pão em sua casa, então que vele uma noite inteira em memória do meu amado Isaque, sem dormitar, e eu lhe darei herança no meu reino.

11And the Saviour said to our Father Abraham, And if he is poor and cannot find bread in his house, then let him keep vigil for a whole night in memory of my beloved Isaac without slumbering, and I will give him inheritance in my kingdom.

12Meu Pai Abraão disse: E se ele é fraco e não pode velar, que a tua misericórdia e compaixão ainda o envolvam.

12My Father Abraham said, And if he is weak and cannot keep vigil, let thy mercy and compassion enfold him still.

13E o Senhor lhe disse: Então que traga um pouco de incenso em meu nome no dia da memória do meu amado Isaque, teu filho.

13And the Lord said to him, Then let him bring a little Incense in my name on the memorial day of my beloved Isaac thy son.

14E se acontecer que não sabe ler, então que vá para ouvir a leitura de quem a sabe ler.

14And if so be that he cannot read, then let him go that he may hear the reading from one who can read it.

15E se não fizer nenhuma destas coisas, então que entre em sua casa, e feche a porta sobre si, e ore com cem prostrações: Arrependo-me; então eu o darei a vós por filho no meu Reino; mas, melhor do que tudo isto, que traga uma oferta no dia da memória do meu amado Isaque.

15And if he do not any one of these things, then let him enter his house and shut the door upon him and pray with a hundred prostrations, I repent; then I will give him to you as a son in my Kingdom; but better than all this let him bring an offering on the memorial day of my beloved Isaac.

16E todos os que fizerem tudo o que eu disse, esses obterão a herança, o Reino nos meus Céus.

16And all who shall do all that I have said, even they shall obtain the inheritance, the Kingdom in my Heavens.

17E de todos os que se esforçarem por transcrever as suas últimas vontades, e o seu testamento, e a sua história, e mostrarem misericórdia, ainda que seja dando um copo de água fria, e crerem de todo o coração, a minha força e o espírito da minha santidade estarão com eles para a sua prosperidade neste mundo, e não haverá vacilação na sua religião, e eu os darei a vós no meu Reino, e estarão presentes na primeira hora do banquete dos mil anos.

17And of all who shall take pains and transcribe his will and his testament and his story, and shew mercy even by giving a cup of cold water, and believe from all their heart, my strength and the spirit of my holiness shall be with them for their prosperity in this world, and there shall be no wavering in their religion, and I will give you them in my Kingdom, and they shall be present the first hour at the banquet of the thousand years.

18A paz seja sobre vós, ó meus amados, os santos.

18Peace be upon you, O my beloved, the saints.
