Evangelho da Infância de Tomé 8

1E enquanto os judeus animavam Zaqueu, o menino riu alto e disse: Agora dê fruto o teu saber, e vejam os cegos de coração.

1And when the Jews were encouraging Zacchæus, the child laughed aloud, and said: Now let thy learning bring forth fruit, and let the blind in heart see.

2Estou aqui do alto, para amaldiçoá-los e chamá-los às coisas que são do alto, conforme me ordenou aquele que me enviou por causa de vós.

2I am here from above, that I may curse them, and call them to the things that are above, as He that sent me on your account has commanded me.

3E quando o menino cessou de falar, imediatamente ficaram sãos todos os que tinham caído sob a sua maldição.

3And when the child ceased speaking, immediately all were made whole who had fallen under His curse.

4E ninguém, depois disso, ousou irritá-lo, para que não o amaldiçoasse e ficasse aleijado.

4And no one after that dared to make Him angry, lest He should curse him, and he should be maimed.
