1Miqueias, o profeta: nasceu em Moraste, da tribo de Efraim.

1Micah the prophet: he was born in Morathi, of the tribe of Ephraim.

2Este homem fez muitas coisas a Acabe, rei de Judá; e por Jorão, seu filho, é morto, lançado num precipício, quando o repreendeu pelas suas impiedades e pelas dos seus pais, que haviam praticado.

2This man did many things to Ahab, king of Judah; and by Joram his son he is slain, thrown down a precipice, when he rebuked him for his impieties and those of his fathers which they had wrought.

3E, tendo morrido, foi sepultado em Moraste, na sua terra, totalmente só, perto do cemitério comum; e o seu túmulo é facilmente reconhecível até o dia de hoje.

3And having died he was buried in Morathi, in his own land, quite alone, near the common burial-ground; and his tomb is easily recognized to this very day.
