1 Clemente 60

1Tu, por meio das Tuas operações, tornaste manifesta a eterna estrutura do mundo. Tu, Senhor, criaste a terra. Tu, que és fiel por todas as gerações, justo nos Teus juízos, maravilhoso em força e excelência, Tu, que és sábio em criar e prudente em estabelecer o que fizeste, que és bom nas coisas que se veem e fiel com os que confiam em Ti, misericordioso e compassivo, perdoa-nos as nossas iniquidades e as nossas injustiças e as nossas transgressões e faltas.

1Thou through Thine operations didst make manifest the everlasting fabric of the world. Thou, Lord, didst create the earth. Thou that art faithful throughout all generations, righteous in Thy judgments, marvelous in strength and excellence, Thou that art wise in creating and prudent in establishing that which Thou hast made, that art good in the things which are seen and faithful with them that trust on Thee, pitiful and compassionate, forgive us our iniquities and our unrighteousnesses and our transgressions and shortcomings.

2Não lances à nossa conta todo pecado dos Teus servos e das Tuas servas, mas purifica-nos com a purificação da Tua verdade, e dirige os nossos passos para andarmos em santidade e justiça e singeleza de coração e para fazermos as coisas que são boas e agradáveis aos Teus olhos e aos olhos dos nossos governantes.

2Lay not to our account every sin of Thy servants and Thine handmaids, but cleanse us with the cleansing of Thy truth, and guide our steps to walk in holiness and righteousness and singleness of heart and to do such things as are good and well pleasing in Thy sight and in the sight of our rulers.

3Sim, Senhor, faze resplandecer a Tua face sobre nós em paz, para o nosso bem, para que sejamos abrigados pela Tua mão poderosa e livrados de todo pecado pelo Teu braço erguido. E livra-nos dos que nos odeiam injustamente.

3Yea, Lord, make Thy face to shine upon us in peace for our good, that we may be sheltered by Thy mighty hand and delivered from every sin by Thine uplifted arm. And deliver us from them that hate us wrongfully.

4Dá concórdia e paz a nós e a todos os que habitam sobre a terra, como deste a nossos pais, quando Te invocaram em fé e verdade, com santidade, [para que sejamos salvos,] enquanto prestamos obediência ao Teu todo-poderoso e excelentíssimo Nome, e aos nossos governantes e regentes sobre a terra.

4Give concord and peace to us and to all that dwell on the earth, as Thou gavest to our fathers, when they called on Thee in faith and truth with holiness, [that we may be saved,] while we render obedience to Thine almighty and most excellent Name, and to our rulers and governors upon the earth.
