1 Clemente 61

1Tu, Senhor e Mestre, deste-lhes o poder de soberania por meio da Tua excelente e inefável força, para que nós, conhecendo a glória e a honra que lhes deste, nos submetamos a eles, em nada resistindo à Tua vontade. Concede-lhes, portanto, ó Senhor, saúde, paz, concórdia, estabilidade, para que administrem sem falha o governo que lhes deste.

1Thou, Lord and Master, hast given them the power of sovereignty through Thine excellent and unspeakable might, that we knowing the glory and honor which Thou hast given them may submit ourselves unto them, in nothing resisting Thy will. Grant unto them therefore, O Lord, health, peace, concord, stability, that they may administer the government which Thou hast given them without failure.

2Pois Tu, ó Mestre celestial, Rei das eras, dás aos filhos dos homens glória e honra e poder sobre todas as coisas que há sobre a terra. Dirige Tu, Senhor, o conselho deles segundo o que é bom e agradável à Tua vista, para que, administrando em paz e brandura, com piedade, o poder que lhes deste, alcancem o Teu favor.

2For Thou, O heavenly Master, King of the ages, givest to the sons of men glory and honor and power over all things that are upon the earth. Do Thou, Lord, direct their counsel according to that which is good and well pleasing in Thy sight, that, administering in peace and gentleness with Godliness the power which Thou hast given them, they may obtain Thy favor.

3Ó Tu, que somente és capaz de fazer estas coisas e coisas muito mais excelentes do que estas por nós, louvamos-Te por meio do Sumo Sacerdote e Guardião das nossas almas, Jesus Cristo, por meio de quem sejam a glória e a majestade a Ti, agora e por todas as gerações e para todo o sempre. Amém.

3O Thou, who alone art able to do these things and things far more exceeding good than these for us, we praise Thee through the High priest and Guardian of our souls, Jesus Christ, through whom be the glory and the majesty unto Thee both now and for all generations and for ever and ever. Amen.
