1 Enoque 1

1Palavras da bênção de Enoque, com que ele abençoou os escolhidos e justos que estarão vivos no dia da tribulação, quando todos os ímpios e malvados hão de ser removidos. E ele tomou a sua parábola e disse — Enoque, homem justo, cujos olhos foram abertos por Deus, viu a visão do Santo nos céus,

1The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said—Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens,

2a qual os anjos me mostraram; e deles ouvi tudo, e deles entendi o que vi, não para esta geração, mas para uma geração remota, que há de vir.

2which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

3A respeito dos escolhidos falei, e tomei a minha parábola acerca deles: O Santo e Grande sairá da sua habitação,

3Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,

4e o Deus eterno pisará sobre a terra, sobre o monte Sinai, e aparecerá do seu arraial, e aparecerá na força do seu poder desde o céu dos céus.

4And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai, And appear from His camp And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5E todos serão feridos de temor, e os Vigilantes tremerão, e grande temor e tremor os apanharão até os confins da terra.

5And all shall be smitten with fear, And the Watchers shall quake, And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6E os altos montes serão abalados, e os altos outeiros serão abatidos, e se derreterão como a cera diante da chama.

6And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low, And shall melt like wax before the flame.

7E a terra será inteiramente fendida, e tudo o que há sobre a terra perecerá, e haverá juízo sobre todos os homens.

7And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all men.

8Mas com os justos ele fará paz, e guardará os escolhidos, e a misericórdia estará sobre eles. E todos pertencerão a Deus, e prosperarão, e todos serão abençoados. E ele a todos ajudará, e a luz lhes aparecerá, e ele fará paz com eles.

8But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them.
