2 Enoque 33

1E estabeleci também o oitavo dia, para que o oitavo dia fosse o primeiro criado depois da minha obra, e que (os primeiros sete) girem na forma do sétimo milênio, e que no começo do oitavo milênio haja um tempo de não-contagem, sem fim, sem anos nem meses nem semanas nem dias nem horas.

1And I appointed the eighth day also, that the eighth day should be the first-created after my work, and that (the first seven) revolve in the form of the seventh thousand, and that at the beginning of the eighth thousand there should be a time of not-counting, endless, with neither years nor months nor weeks nor days nor hours.

2E agora, Enoque, tudo o que te disse, tudo o que compreendeste, tudo o que viste das coisas celestes, tudo o que viste na terra, e tudo o que escrevi nos livros pela minha grande sabedoria, todas estas coisas eu as concebi e criei desde o fundamento mais alto até o inferior e até o fim, e não há conselheiro nem herdeiro das minhas criações.

2And now, Enoch, all that I have told you, all that you have understood, all that you have seen of heavenly things, all that you have seen on earth, and all that I have written in books by my great wisdom, all these things I have devised and created from the uppermost foundation to the lower and to the end, and there is no counsellor nor inheritor to my creations.

3Eu sou eterno por mim mesmo, não feito por mãos e sem mudança.

3I am self-eternal, not made with hands, and without change.

4O meu pensamento é o meu conselheiro, a minha sabedoria e a minha palavra são feitas, e os meus olhos observam todas as coisas, como elas aqui estão e tremem de terror.

4My thought is my counsellor, my wisdom and my word are made, and my eyes observe all things how they stand here and tremble with terror.

5Se eu desviar o meu rosto, então todas as coisas serão destruídas.

5If I turn away my face, then all things will be destroyed.

6E aplica a tua mente, Enoque, e conhece aquele que te fala, e toma dali os livros que tu mesmo escreveste.

6And apply your mind, Enoch, and know him who is speaking to you, and take thence the books which you yourself have written.

7E te dou Samuil e Raguil, que te conduziram, e os livros, e desce à terra, e dize aos teus filhos tudo o que te disse, e tudo o que viste, desde o céu inferior até o meu trono, e todas as tropas.

7And I give you Samuil and Raguil, who led you up, and the books, and go down to earth, and tell your sons all that I have told you, and all that you have seen, from the lower heaven up to my throne, and all the troops.

8Pois criei todas as forças, e não há quem me resista ou não se sujeite a mim. Pois todos se sujeitam à minha monarquia e trabalham pelo meu governo único.

8For I created all forces, and there is none that resists me or that does not subject himself to me. For all subject themselves to my monarchy, and labour for my sole rule.

9Dá-lhes os livros da escrita de tua mão, e eles os lerão e me conhecerão como criador de todas as coisas, e compreenderão como não há outro Deus senão eu.

9Give them the books of the handwriting, and they will read (them) and will know me for the creator of all things, and will understand how there is no other God but me.

10E que distribuam os livros da tua escrita — filhos a filhos, geração a geração, nações a nações.

10And let them distribute the books of your handwriting–children to children, generation to generation, nations to nations.

11E te darei, Enoque, meu intercessor, o arquistratego Miguel, para as escritas dos teus pais Adão, Set, Enos, Cainã, Maleleel e Jarede, teu pai.

11And I will give you, Enoch, my intercessor, the archistratege Michael, for the handwritings of your fathers Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahaleleel, and Jared your father.
