2 Enoque 64

1Quando Enoque disse estas palavras a seus filhos, todo o povo, de longe e de perto, ouviu como o Senhor chamava Enoque. Fizeram conselho entre si:

1When Enoch had spoken these words to his sons, all people far and near heard how the Lord was calling Enoch. They took counsel together:

2Vamos beijar Enoque; e dois mil homens se reuniram e vieram ao lugar Achuzan, onde estava Enoque, e os seus filhos.

2Let us go and kiss Enoch, and two thousand men came together and came to the place Achuzan where Enoch was, and his sons.

3E os anciãos do povo, toda a assembleia, vieram e se prostraram e começaram a beijar Enoque e lhe disseram:

3And the elders of the people, the whole assembly, came and bowed down and began to kiss Enoch and said to him:

4Nosso pai Enoque, (sejas) tu (abençoado) pelo Senhor, o governante eterno, e agora abençoa os teus filhos e todo o povo, para que sejamos glorificados hoje diante da tua face.

4Our father Enoch, (may) you (be) blessed of the Lord, the eternal ruler, and now bless your sons and all the people, that we may be glorified to-day before your face.

5Pois serás glorificado diante da face do Senhor por todo o tempo, uma vez que o Senhor te escolheu, mais que todos os homens da terra, e te designou escriba de toda a sua criação, visível (física) e invisível (espiritual), e redentor dos pecados do homem, e ajudador da tua casa.

5For you shalt be glorified before the Lord’s face for all time, since the Lord chose you, rather than all men on earth, and designated you writer of all his creation, visible (physical) and invisible (spiritual), and redeemed of the sins of man, and helper of your household.
