Ascensão de Isaías 8

1E de novo elevou-me ao ar do sexto céu, e vi tal glória como não tinha visto nos cinco céus.

1AND again he raised me into the air of the sixth heaven, and I saw such glory as I had not seen in the five heavens.

2Pois vi anjos que possuíam grande glória.

2For I saw angels possessing great glory.

3E o louvor ali era santo e maravilhoso.

3And the praise there was holy and wonderful.

4E disse ao anjo que me conduzia: "Que é isto que vejo, meu Senhor?"

4And I said to the angel who conducted me: "What is this which I see, my Lord?"

5E ele disse: "Não sou o teu senhor, mas o teu conservo."

5And he said: "I am not thy lord, but thy fellow servant."

6E de novo o interroguei, e lhe disse: "Por que não há conservos angélicos (à esquerda)?"

6And again I asked him, and I said unto him: "Why are there not angelic fellow servants (on the left)?"

7E ele disse: "Do sexto céu em diante já não há anjos à esquerda, nem trono posto no meio, mas (são dirigidos) pelo poder do sétimo céu, onde habita Aquele que não é nomeado e o Eleito, cujo nome não foi dado a conhecer, e nenhum dos céus pode aprender o Seu nome.

7And he said: "From the sixth heaven there are no longer angels on the left, nor a throne set in the midst, but (they are directed) by the power of the seventh heaven, where dwelleth He that is not named and the Elect One, whose name has not been made known, and none of the heavens can learn His name.

8Pois é somente Ele a cuja voz todos os céus e tronos respondem. Fui, portanto, habilitado e enviado para te elevar aqui, a fim de que vejas esta glória.

8For it is He alone to whose voice all the heavens and thrones give answer. I have therefore been empowered and sent to raise thee here that thou mayest see this glory.

9E a fim de que vejas o Senhor de todos aqueles céus e destes tronos.

9And that thou mayest see the Lord of all those heavens and these thrones.

10Sofrendo (sucessivas) transformações até que se assemelhe à vossa forma e semelhança.

10Undergoing (successive) transformation until He resembles your form and likeness.

11Digo-te, de fato, Isaías: nenhum homem que estivesse prestes a voltar a um corpo daquele mundo subiu ou viu o que tu vês, ou percebeu o que tu percebeste e o que verás.

11I indeed say unto thee, Isaiah; No man about to return into a body of that world has ascended or seen what thou seest or perceived what thou hast perceived and what thou wilt see.

12Pois te foi permitido, na sorte do Senhor, vir até aqui. [E daqui vem o poder do sexto céu e do ar]."

12For it has been permitted to thee in the lot of the Lord to come hither. [And from thence comes the power of the sixth heaven and of the air]."

13E magnifiquei o meu Senhor com louvor, porque por meio da Sua sorte eu viria até aqui.

13And I magnified my Lord with praise, in that through His lot I should come hither.

14E ele disse: "Ouve ainda, portanto, também isto da parte do teu conservo: quando, saindo do corpo pela vontade de Deus, tiveres subido até aqui, então receberás a veste que vês, e igualmente verás outras vestes numeradas guardadas (ali).

14And he said: "Hear, furthermore, therefore, this also from thy fellow servant: when from the body by the will of God thou hast ascended hither, then thou wilt receive the garment which thou seest, and likewise other numbered garments laid up (there) thou wilt see.

15E então tornar-te-ás igual aos anjos do sétimo céu.

15And then thou wilt become equal to the angels of the seventh heaven.

16E elevou-me ao sexto céu, e ali não havia (anjos) à esquerda, nem trono no meio, mas todos tinham uma só aparência, e o seu (poder de) louvor era igual.

16And he raised me up into the sixth heaven, and there were no (angels) on the left, nor a throne in the midst, but all had one appearance and their (power of) praise was equal.

17E também a mim foi dado (poder), e eu também louvei juntamente com eles, e também aquele anjo, e o nosso louvor era como o deles.

17And (power) was given to me also, and I also praised along with them and that angel also, and our praise was like theirs.

18E ali todos nomeavam o Pai primordial e o Seu Amado, o Cristo, e o Espírito Santo, todos a uma só voz.

18And there they all named the primal Father and His Beloved, the Christ, and the Holy Spirit, all with one voice.

19E (a sua voz) não era como a voz dos anjos nos cinco céus.

19And (their voice) was not like the voice of the angels in the five heavens.

20[Nem como o seu discurso] mas a voz era diferente ali, e havia ali muita luz.

20[Nor like their discourse] but the voice was different there, and there was much light there.

21E então, quando estava no sexto céu, considerei que a luz que eu tinha visto nos cinco céus não era senão trevas.

21And then, when I was in the sixth heaven I thought the light which I had seen in the five heavens to be but darkness.

22E alegrei-me e louvei Aquele que concedeu tais luzes aos que esperam a Sua promessa.

22And I rejoiced and praised Him who hath bestowed such lights on those who wait for His promise.

23E supliquei ao anjo que me conduzia que não voltasse doravante ao mundo carnal.

23And I besought the angel who conducted me that I should not henceforth return to the carnal world.

24Digo-vos, de fato, Ezequias, e Josab, meu filho, e Miqueias, que há aqui muita escuridão.

24I say indeed unto you, Hezekiah and Josab my son and Micaiah, that there is much darkness here.

25E o anjo que me conduzia descobriu o que eu pensava e disse: "Se te alegras nesta luz, quanto mais te alegrarás quando, no sétimo céu, vires a luz onde está o Senhor e o Seu Amado [de onde fui enviado, que será chamado "Filho" neste mundo.

25And the angel who conducted me discovered what I thought and said: "If in this light thou dost rejoice, how much more wilt thou rejoice, when in the seventh heaven thou seest the light where is the Lord and His Beloved [whence I have been sent, who is to be called "Son" in this world.

26Ainda não foi manifestado ele estará no mundo corruptível] e as vestes, e os tronos, e as coroas que estão guardadas para os justos, para os que confiam naquele Senhor que descerá na vossa forma. Pois a luz que há ali é grande e maravilhosa.

26Not (yet) hath been manifested he shall be in the corruptible world] and the garments, and the thrones, and the crowns which are laid up for the righteous, for those who trust in that Lord who will descend in your form. For the light which is there is great and wonderful.

27E quanto a não voltares ao corpo, os teus dias ainda não se completaram para vires aqui."

27And as concerning thy not returning into the body thy days are not yet fulfilled for coming here."

28E quando ouvi (isto) fiquei perturbado, e ele disse: "Não te perturbes."

28And when I heard (that) I was troubled, and he said: "Do not be troubled."
