Didaquê 11

1Portanto, quem quer que venha e vos ensine todas estas coisas que foram ditas antes, recebei-o;

1Whosoever therefore shall come and teach you all these things that have been said before, receive him;

2mas se o próprio mestre for pervertido e ensinar uma doutrina diferente para a sua destruição, não o ouças; mas se for para o aumento da justiça e do conhecimento do Senhor, recebei-o como ao Senhor.

2but if the teacher himself be perverted and teach a different doctrine to the destruction thereof, hear him not; but if to the increase of righteousness and the knowledge of the Lord, receive him as the Lord.

3Mas quanto aos apóstolos e profetas, fazei assim segundo a ordenança do Evangelho.

3But concerning the apostles and prophets, so do ye according to the ordinance of the Gospel.

4Que todo apóstolo, quando vier a vós, seja recebido como o Senhor;

4Let every apostle, when he cometh to you, be received as the Lord;

5mas não ficará mais do que um único dia, ou se houver necessidade, um segundo também; mas se ficar três dias, é um falso profeta.

5but he shall not abide more than a single day, or if there be need, a second likewise; but if he abide three days, he is a false prophet.

6E quando partir, que o apóstolo não receba nada exceto pão, até encontrar abrigo; mas se pedir dinheiro, é um falso profeta.

6And when he departeth let the apostle receive nothing save bread, until he findeth shelter; but if he ask money, he is a false prophet.

7E a qualquer profeta que fale no Espírito, não o julgueis nem o discernais; pois todo pecado será perdoado, mas este pecado não será perdoado.

7And any prophet speaking in the Spirit ye shall not try neither discern; for every sin shall be forgiven, but this sin shall not be forgiven.

8Contudo, nem todo aquele que fala no Espírito é profeta, mas somente se tiver os caminhos do Senhor. Pelos seus caminhos, portanto, o falso profeta e o profeta serão reconhecidos.

8Yet not every one that speaketh in the Spirit is a prophet, but only if he have the ways of the Lord. From his ways therefore the false prophet and the prophet shall be recognized.

9E nenhum profeta, quando ordenar uma mesa no Espírito, dela comerá; caso contrário, é um falso profeta.

9And no prophet when he ordereth a table in the Spirit shall eat of it; otherwise he is a false prophet.

10E todo profeta que ensina a verdade, se não faz o que ensina, é um falso profeta.

10And every prophet teaching the truth, if he doeth not what he teacheth, is a false prophet.

11E todo profeta aprovado e reconhecido como verdadeiro, se faz algo como um mistério exterior típico da Igreja, e contudo não vos ensina a fazer tudo o que ele mesmo faz, não será julgado perante vós; tem o seu julgamento na presença de Deus; pois assim também fizeram os profetas dos tempos antigos.

11And every prophet approved and found true, if he doeth ought as an outward mystery typical of the Church, and yet teacheth you not to do all that he himself doeth, shall not be judged before you; he hath his judgment in the presence of God; for in like manner also did the prophets of old time.

12E quem quer que diga no Espírito, Dai-me prata ou qualquer outra coisa, não o ouçais; mas se vos disser para dar em favor de outros que estão em necessidade, que nenhum homem o julgue.

12And whosoever shall say in the Spirit, Give me silver or anything else, ye shall not listen to him; but if he tell you to give on behalf of others that are in want, let no man judge him.
