Odes de Salomão 17

1Fui coroado pelo meu Deus; E a minha coroa é viva:

1I was crowned by my God; And my crown is living:

2E fui justificado pelo meu Senhor; E a minha salvação é incorruptível.

2And I was justified by my Lord; And my salvation is incorruptible.

3Fui libertado das vaidades, E não sou condenado. Os laços sufocantes foram cortados pela sua mão;

3I was loosed from vanities, And I am not condemned. The choking bonds were cut off by His hand;

4Recebi o rosto e a feição de uma pessoa nova; E andei nele e fui redimido.

4I received the face and the fashion of a new person; And I walked in Him and was redeemed.

5E o pensamento da verdade me guiou; E andei atrás dele e não me desviei.

5And the thought of truth led me; And I walked after it and did not wander.

6E todos os que me viram ficaram maravilhados; E fui tido por eles como uma pessoa estranha.

6And all that have seen me were amazed; And I was supposed by them to be a strange person.

7E aquele que me conheceu e me criou, É o Altíssimo em toda a sua perfeição: E ele me glorificou pela sua bondade, E elevou o meu pensamento à altura da Verdade.

7And He who knew and brought me up, Is the Most High in all His perfection: And He glorified me by His kindness, And raised my thought to the height of Truth.

8E dali me deu o caminho dos seus passos; E abri as portas que estavam fechadas:

8And from thence He gave me the way of His steps; And I opened the doors that were closed:

9E quebrei em pedaços as trancas de ferro: Mas o meu próprio ferro (as minhas cadeias) derreteu-se e dissolveu-se diante de mim.

9And I broke in pieces the bars of iron: But my own iron (bonds) melted and dissolved before me.

10E nada me pareceu fechado; Porque eu era a abertura de tudo.

10And nothing appeared closed to me; Because I was the opening of everything.

11E fui ao encontro de todos os cativos para libertá-los; Para não deixar nenhum homem atado e atando;

11And I went towards all the bondsmen to loose them; That I might not leave any man bound and binding;

12E comuniquei o meu conhecimento sem mesquinhez; E o seu pedido a mim com o meu amor.

12And I imparted my knowledge without grudging; And their request to me with my love.

13E semeei os meus frutos nos corações, E os transformei por meu intermédio:

13And I sowed my fruits in hearts, And transformed them through myself:

14E receberam a minha bênção e viveram; E foram reunidos a mim e foram salvos.

14And they received my blessing and lived; And they were gathered to me and were saved.

15Porque se tornaram para mim como os meus próprios membros; E eu era a sua cabeça.

15Because they became to me as my own members; And I was their head.

16Glória a ti, nossa Cabeça, o Senhor Messias. Aleluia.

16Glory to thee our Head, the Lord Messiah. Hallelujah.
