Odes de Salomão 8

1Abri, abri os vossos corações à exultação do Senhor: E abunde o vosso amor desde o coração até os lábios:

1Open ye, open ye your hearts to the exultation of the Lord: And let your love abound from the heart, and even to the lips:

2Para produzir frutos ao Senhor, uma vida santa, E falar com vigilância na sua luz.

2To bring forth fruits to the Lord, a holy life, And to talk watchfully in His light.

3Levantai-vos e ficai de pé, Vós que outrora fostes abatidos;

3Rise up and stand erect, Ye who were sometimes brought low;

4Vós que estáveis em silêncio, falai, (Agora) que a vossa boca foi aberta.

4Ye who were in silence, speak out, (Now) that your mouth hath been opened.

5Vós que éreis desprezados, sede exaltados; Agora que a vossa justiça foi exaltada;

5Ye who were despised, be lifted up; Now that your righteousness has been lifted up;

6Pois a mão direita do Senhor está convosco; E ele será o vosso auxiliador.

6For the right hand of the Lord is with you; And He will be your helper.

7E a paz foi preparada para vós, Antes mesmo que a vossa guerra acontecesse.

7And peace hath been prepared for you, Before ever your war happened.

8Ouvi a palavra da verdade, E recebei o conhecimento do Altíssimo A vossa carne não sabe o que vos digo; Nem a vossa veste o que vos mostro;

8Hear the word of truth, And receive the knowledge of the Most High Your flesh does not know what I am saying to you; Nor your raiment what I am showing to you;

9Guardai o meu segredo, vós que sois guardados por ele;

9Keep my secret, ye who are kept by it;

10Guardai a minha fé, vós que sois guardados por ela.

10Keep my faith, ye who are kept by it.

11E entendei o meu conhecimento, Vós que me conheceis na verdade:

11And understand my knowledge, Ye who know me in truth:

12Amai-me com afeto, Vós que amais:

12Love me with affection, Ye who love:

13Pois não desvio o meu rosto dos que são meus; Pois eu os conheço.

13For I do not turn away my face from them that are mine; For I know them.

14Antes que viessem a existir, Tomei conhecimento deles, E sobre os seus rostos pus o meu selo.

14Before they came into being, I took knowledge of them, And on their faces I set my seal.

15Formei os seus membros; Os meus próprios seios preparei para eles; Para que bebessem o meu leite santo e vivessem por ele.

15I fashioned their members; My own breasts I prepared for them; That they might drink my holy milk and live thereby.

16Tive prazer neles, E não me envergonho deles.

16I took pleasure in them, And I am not ashamed of them.

17Pois são obra minha, E a força dos meus pensamentos:

17For my workmanship are they, And the strength of my thoughts:

18Quem, então, se levantará contra a obra das minhas mãos? Ou quem há que não lhes esteja sujeito?

18Who then shall stand up against my handywork? Or who is there that is not subject to them?

19Eu quis, e formei mente e coração; E são meus. E com a minha própria mão direita pus os meus eleitos.

19I willed, and fashioned mind and heart; And they are mine. And by my own right hand I set my elect ones.

20E a minha justiça vai diante deles; E não serão separados do meu nome: Pois está com eles.

20And my righteousness goeth before them; And they shall not be detached from my name: For it is with them.

21Orai e permanecei continuamente no amor do Senhor; Vós, amados, no Amado; E vós que sois guardados, naquele que viveu (de novo); E vós que sois salvos, naquele que foi salvo.

21Pray and abide continually in the love of the Lord; Ye beloved ones, in the Beloved; And ye who are kept, in Him that lived (again); And ye that are saved, in Him that was saved.

22E sereis achados incorruptos por todas as eras, Para o nome do vosso Pai. Aleluia.

22And ye shall be found incorrupt in all ages, To the name of your Father. Hallelujah.
